| Theme: "Scouting Through
the Ages and Around the World"
There is an accompanying detailed
program with more information on activities, games etc.
Note the return to a detailed program and a leader rota. We
had many more leaders than in recent years from various groups,
some inexperienced. The program reverted back to detailed
times and events and the leaders
notes contain explanatios for each and every item. A wealth
of supporting material was also available at the camp.

Notes
1. As is now our tradition we have a large folder containing
all relavent materials and information for the program as
well as each leader being given a program and information
pack. This year this included the sheets for the rooms, sixes,
codes, groups on the days out, games and much much more. There
were hundreds of worksheets and puzzle sheets and help sheets
to do with all aspects of Scouting and the programme. We had
a massive display of material and books, from all ages of
Scouting, to help the Cubs throughout the week.
2. The times went back to being detailed in full as we went
back to a rota system and it was important that each workgroup
knew what to do and when to ensure a smooth transition. Some
of the leaders were also relatively inexperienced and so the
programme and notes were much more detailed than normal.
3. As is usual we didnt follow the program exactly. The site
offered a campfire midweek and we gladly accepted and it was
run by the man who is responsible for the UK Campfire Leaders
'club', it was excellent. They also ran one for us at the
end of the week.
4. I have a massive amount of material to back up the programme.
Email
me for more details.
